Giving shape to the contents
Editorial design refers to the set of graphic and typographic choices that help structure, prioritize, and enhance written content, whether printed or digital. It's the art of laying out a message so that it is understood, perceived, and felt with clarity and impact. This field goes far beyond simple formatting: it involves creating a true visual dialogue between the content and the reader, serving a specific communication objective.
A true vector of identity
In the age of information overload, editorial design plays a vital role: it makes content accessible, understandable, and engaging. It's a tool for promoting knowledge, branding, and culture, and a powerful way to connect a message with its audience. When well-designed, an editorial document becomes a true vehicle for identity and emotion, and a tangible extension of the communication strategy.
My vision of editorial design
For me, editorial design is a fascinating field of creative expression, where rigor meets aesthetics, and content guides form. Each editorial project is a living system: it has its own logic, rhythm, and narrative structure. My role as a creative graphic designer is to visually translate this content, giving it a coherent, readable, and appealing form—whether in a corporate brochure, a product catalog, or a cultural magazine.
